OUR RESTAURANT

Cotswolds Craftsmanship

Our dishes showcase the freshest organically reared produce from our fields.

They reflect a 'nose-to-tail' philosophy structured around the local Cotswolds produce cycle, ensuring sustainable, seasonal use of ingredients.

Sustaining Care

Pedigree Traditional Hereford Cattle & Hampshire Down Sheep graze uplands in the summer and valley pastures in autumn & winter.

We cut hay later than normal from our valley fields in July to encourage wild flower seeding and biodiversity.

Historic Cotswold Landscapes

Our cattle graze a landscape with a rich history.

In 1643, during the English Civil War, Royalist and Parliamentarian armies fought the Battle of Landsdown across our fields.

In 1909, excavations were made of ancient barrow burial grounds on the farm. They revealed cattle and sheep bones, showing that they have been farmed here for millennia.
