Wine, Local Beer & Ciders
We stock a short, serious list of drinks — the same ones we serve in the restaurant and cocktail garden.

The wines are mostly European, small-batch, and low-intervention: crisp alpine whites from northern Italy, dry, minerally rosés from Galicia, and skin-contact bottles with structure and bite.
Nothing overly clever. Just good farming, minimal handling, and real flavour.

The ciders come from Somerset orchards, fermented slowly and bottled like wine - dry, complex, and grown properly.
You’ll also find beers from independent Bath and Bristol brewers, usually unfiltered, usually pale, and never boring.

Everything here has a reason to be here. If you’re not sure what to take home, just ask.
Art
We show work by local artists whose approach matches our own: slow, careful, and rooted in place.

Right now, the walls feature hand-painted studies of wild and garden flowers — detailed, quiet, and full of presence.
The kind of work you can sit with over a drink and spot something new in every time.

Exhibitions change regularly.
Pieces are available to buy.

Cakes
We keep a small, changing selection of cakes - some made in-house, others from local bakeries we trust.
They’re not showpieces. They’re the kind of cakes we actually want to eat: well-made, not too sweet, and always fresh.
You might find: Lemon drizzle, homemade chocolate, Mrs Stanley's famous cheese scone, freshly baked cookies and carrot & walnut cake.
What’s on offer changes week to week.
Best enjoyed with coffee, tea,or a glass of something cold.
Plants
We stock a small, changing selection of specialist plants.
These aren’t supermarket seedlings or generic garden centre stock. They’re carefully raised, often unusual varieties.
Nothing showy. Nothing rushed. Just good plants, selected with the same care we give everything else we offer.
Available seasonally, in limited numbers.
